Apparently they start 'em young in Austria.
From atop a tower in Vienna overlooking the Danube river. Every city seemed to have a tower. Jason overcame his fear of heights on this trip. That is, until the Cliffs of Moher (see later pictures).
Jason ringing the bell to Freud's apartment.
On the back side of St. Stephens cathedral in Vienna.
Our first stop in Vienna, in front of the Heldenplatz. At the time we had no clue what it was, only that Jason blended in perfectly with his grey shirt.

Which one is the David?
From Michaelangelo's Park overlooking Florence. The darker cloud in the background is actually their rolling hills. (Fast fact: 30% of leading Renaissance artists lived or worked in Florence)
Fast fact: according to Jason, all men walk with hands behind their back, one hand holding the other wrist. All of them.
The day Tasha thought she was pregnant.

Outside the Pantheon, this fountain has two fish with strained expressions - which we are immitating, if you couldn't tell.

This courtyard behind is part of the ruins in the Palentine Gardens. Here (not the colosseum) is where they recently discovered was the site of Christian killings. Why are we smiling...?
Inside Plaza Navona.
Lance Armstrong biked in Rome and we crossed the bike strip like 4 times that day during the "Tour of Italy" - we must have seen him.

Even though we're back and enjoying life in Colorado again, we are going to finish this fan-tastic blog and even go back a while to add some pictures to previously posted cities. Starting in Rome, here are some extra pictures.
I thought it especially appropriate to start in St. Peter's church considering I butchered the sideways pictures of the Pieta (I called a dead and dying Jesus...). Thank you, those who are Catholic, for forgiving us.

Standing in front of this beautiful lake with mountains...ah. Near SalzburgIn the Alps.
We fell in love with Salzburg. This picture is on The Sound of Music Tour. Probably our favorite tour yet.
Outside a great Viennese restaurant n a tour We bought a bottle of wine that has the picture of the serenaders. Note of interest: Bill Clinton, Regan, Bush, Vladmir Putin, and various celebrities have visited this same restaurant/brewery.
Not a great picture, but we were inside St. Peter's Basilica Sideways view of Mary holding dying or dead Jesus.

Classic Venice
Classic Jason, classic Venice
Jason kicking the tower over!
Scenic Florence from Michaelangelo's Plaza.
We want to live on this bridge. It's the only bridge that survived the WWII bombings in all Florence. *Wanting to live here and surviving bombings have no connection.
Ceiling in Vatican Museum
Sistine Chapel ceiling (taken illegally - don't tell please)
In front of the Colosseum
Angled view looking down from the Palatine Gardens onto the Roman Forum
